Straightforward pricing
You pay for the hours you book plus one flat cleaning fee. The price is the same for 15 guests or the venue’s maximum.

4-hour minimum. Optional add-ons: security attendant $20/hr at any venue; Montrose Studio parking lot $45/hr for up to 7 cars. Prices are subject to change; the venue page always shows current rates.
Planning tips
No packages to choose from and no vendor list to follow. You plan it the way you want, inside a few simple house rules.
Bring the cake, a home-cooked spread or your favorite caterer. Montrose Studio and 3535 Venue have full kitchens, and you can grill in the 3535 courtyard; Nala’s Party Room has a kitchenette and a catering prep area. BYOB at every venue.
A private room means kids can play while parents relax. Bring board games, crafts or a movie for the big TV, and for kids’ birthdays at 3535 Venue, ask about a bounce house in the courtyard.
Dress the room up for a Sweet 16, a 21st or a 40th. DJs are welcome at Montrose Studio and 3535 Venue, and both can be booked until 1 AM on Friday and Saturday.
Montrose Studio has a green wall with a neon sign, and Nala’s Party Room has a tropical mural and a green wall. Add a balloon garland and you have your birthday photo spot.
Balloons, banners and table settings are welcome; please skip confetti and glitter. Play your playlist over the built-in Bluetooth sound system. Outside speakers and live performances are not allowed.
Tour any venue from 8 AM to 6:30 PM when it isn’t booked. No appointment needed; call (312) 815-6917 shortly before you head over.

At NALA you pay by the hour plus a flat cleaning fee, with a 4-hour minimum and no per-guest fees. A 4-hour Saturday birthday party for up to 40 guests at Nala’s Party Room is $330 ($70/hour plus a $50 cleaning fee). A 4-hour Saturday party for up to 80 guests at Montrose Studio or 3535 Venue is $780 ($180/hour plus a $60 cleaning fee). Weekday and Sunday parties cost less. Prices are subject to change.
Nala’s Party Room holds up to 40 guests. Montrose Studio and 3535 Venue each hold up to 80 guests.
Yes. All NALA venues are BYOB, and you can bring your own cake, food, drinks and caterer. Montrose Studio and 3535 Venue have full kitchens where cooking is allowed, and grilling is allowed in the 3535 Venue courtyard. Nala’s Party Room has a kitchenette with a sink, microwave and fridge plus a catering prep area.
Yes. Each space is private for your group, so kids can play while adults sit and talk. Bring your own games, crafts or entertainment. For kids’ birthdays at 3535 Venue, ask about a bounce house in the private courtyard.
DJs are welcome at Montrose Studio and 3535 Venue, playing through the venue’s built-in sound system. DJs are not allowed at Nala’s Party Room, where you can play music from your phone over Bluetooth. Outside speakers and live performances are not allowed at any venue.
Yes. Bring your own balloons, banners, backdrops and table settings. Confetti and glitter aren’t allowed, and setup and cleanup need to fit inside your booked hours, so many hosts book an extra hour to decorate before guests arrive.
Montrose Studio and 3535 Venue can be booked until 12 AM Sunday to Thursday and until 1 AM on Friday and Saturday. Nala’s Party Room can be booked until 12 AM every day.
Yes. You can tour any venue any day from 8 AM to 6:30 PM when it is not in use for an event. No appointment is needed; call (312) 815-6917 shortly before heading over and NALA will arrange access.
