You pay for the hours you book plus one flat cleaning fee. The price is the same for 20 guests or the venue’s maximum.

Planning tips
No packages to choose from and no vendor list to follow. You plan it the way you want, inside a few simple house rules.
Bring a home-made brunch, trays from a favorite bakery or a caterer, and a mimosa bar. Montrose Studio and 3535 Venue have full kitchens; Nala’s Party Room has a kitchenette and a catering prep area. BYOB at every venue.
Set up a flower wall or a balloon arch, or use Montrose Studio’s green wall with a neon sign or the Party Room’s tropical mural.
Use one table for gifts and the rest for games and dessert. The big Smart TV can show a slideshow of the couple or a game on screen.
Setup and cleanup fit inside your booked hours, so many hosts book an extra hour before guests arrive to set out flowers, linens and a welcome sign.
Flowers, balloons, banners and table settings are welcome; please skip confetti and glitter. Play your playlist over the built-in Bluetooth sound system.

At NALA you pay by the hour plus a flat cleaning fee, with a 4-hour minimum and no per-guest fees. A 4-hour Saturday bridal shower for up to 80 guests at Montrose Studio or 3535 Venue is $780 ($180/hour plus a $60 cleaning fee). A 4-hour Sunday shower for up to 40 guests at Nala’s Party Room is $250 ($50/hour plus a $50 cleaning fee). Weekday afternoons cost less. Prices are subject to change.

Yes. All NALA venues are BYOB, and you can bring your own food, cake, drinks and caterer, including mimosas for a brunch shower. Montrose Studio and 3535 Venue have full kitchens where cooking is allowed. Nala’s Party Room has a kitchenette with a sink, microwave and fridge plus a catering prep area.
Yes. Bring your own flowers, balloons, a backdrop, a welcome sign and table settings. Confetti and glitter aren’t allowed, and setup and cleanup need to fit inside your booked hours, so many hosts book an extra hour to decorate before guests arrive.
Yes. Montrose Studio has a green wall with a neon sign, Nala’s Party Room has a tropical mural and a green wall, and 3535 Venue has a stone accent wall. You can also bring your own backdrop.
Yes. Every venue has a built-in Bluetooth sound system and a big wall-mounted Smart TV: 76″ at Montrose Studio, 65″ at 3535 Venue and 70″ at Nala’s Party Room, each with HDMI and casting from a phone or laptop. Outside speakers and live performances are not allowed at any venue.
Yes. Any private celebration with your own guests is welcome, from a couples shower to a bachelorette night. Montrose Studio and 3535 Venue can be booked until 12 AM Sunday to Thursday and until 1 AM on Friday and Saturday; Nala’s Party Room until 12 AM every day.
Yes. You can tour any venue any day from 8 AM to 6:30 PM when it is not in use for an event. No appointment is needed; call (312) 815-6917 shortly before heading over and NALA will arrange access.
