You pay for the hours you book plus one flat cleaning fee. The price is the same for 10 people or the venue’s maximum.

Weekday daytime is the lowest rate at every venue, and you can start from 7 AM. At Montrose Studio and 3535 Venue, the rate goes up at 5 PM on weekdays.
Connect a laptop by HDMI or cast to the Smart TV, and use the venue’s WiFi. Try your slides on the TV before people arrive.
Bring a caterer, boxed lunches or your own cooking. Full kitchens at Montrose Studio and 3535 Venue; kitchenette and catering prep area at Nala’s Party Room. BYOB at every venue.
3535 Venue has a private courtyard with a picnic table and string lights, and grilling is allowed there.
Setup and cleanup fit inside your booked hours, so add time before people arrive to arrange tables and test the screen, and after they leave to pack up.

Montrose Studio and 3535 Venue each hold up to 80 guests. Nala’s Party Room holds up to 40 guests.
Yes. Every venue has WiFi and a big wall-mounted Smart TV with HDMI and casting from your laptop or phone: 76″ at Montrose Studio, 65″ at 3535 Venue and 70″ at Nala’s Party Room. At Montrose Studio the TV’s sound plays through the built-in speakers; at 3535 Venue and Nala’s Party Room it plays from the TV itself.
Yes. All NALA venues are BYOB, and you can bring your own food, drinks and caterer, with no required packages. Montrose Studio and 3535 Venue have full kitchens where cooking is allowed. Nala’s Party Room has a kitchenette with a sink, microwave and fridge plus a catering prep area.
Yes. Weekday daytime is our lowest rate, and you can book from 7 AM. Most bookings have a 4-hour minimum. Shorter bookings for small meetings may be possible at Montrose Studio and 3535 Venue, at the venue’s discretion; call (312) 815-6917 to check your date.
Yes, as long as the event is private and by invitation. Ticketed events, events open to the public and any payment from attendees, including paid workshops, are not permitted.
Yes. Every venue has a built-in Bluetooth sound system for your playlist. DJs are welcome at Montrose Studio and 3535 Venue, playing through the built-in system, but not at Nala’s Party Room. Outside speakers and live performances are not allowed at any venue.
Montrose Studio has free street parking nearby, plus a private lot for up to 7 cars at $45/hour, available weekday evenings after 5 PM and all weekend. 3535 Venue and Nala’s Party Room have street parking.
Yes. You pay the full amount by card when you book on the venue’s page, and a receipt is sent by email. Bookings of 4 hours or more are confirmed as soon as you pay.
Yes. You can tour any venue any day from 8 AM to 6:30 PM when it is not in use for an event. No appointment is needed; call (312) 815-6917 shortly before heading over and NALA will arrange access.

House rules at every venue: private events only, with no tickets or admission fees, and no live performances, per our City of Chicago business license. Also no outside sound equipment (built-in speakers only), no smoking and no confetti.
