Planning tips
No packages to choose from and no vendor list to follow. You plan it the way you want, inside a few simple house rules.
Bring your own drinks, a potluck or your favorite caterer. Montrose Studio and 3535 Venue have full kitchens for cooking and warming food; Nala’s Party Room has a kitchenette and a catering prep area.
Play your holiday playlist over the built-in Bluetooth sound system. DJs are welcome at Montrose Studio and 3535 Venue through the venue’s system. Outside speakers and live performances are not allowed.
Bring your own decor, balloons and table settings. Please skip confetti and glitter, and plan setup and cleanup inside your booked hours.
Every venue has a large Smart TV for a year-in-review slideshow, a game or the big game, plus tables for gifts and a dessert spread.
All three venues have street-level entrances. Montrose Studio offers a private lot for up to 7 cars as an add-on, handy for setup and for guests.

FAQ
At NALA you pay by the hour plus a flat cleaning fee, with a 4-hour minimum and no per-guest fees. A 4-hour Friday evening party for up to 80 guests at Montrose Studio or 3535 Venue is $700 ($160/hour plus a $60 cleaning fee). A 4-hour weekday party for up to 40 guests at Nala’s Party Room is $210 ($40/hour plus a $50 cleaning fee). Prices are subject to change.
Yes. All NALA venues are BYOB, and outside food and caterers are welcome. Montrose Studio and 3535 Venue have full kitchens where cooking is allowed. Nala’s Party Room has a kitchenette with a sink, microwave and fridge plus a catering prep area.
DJs are welcome at Montrose Studio and 3535 Venue, playing through the venue’s built-in sound system. DJs are not allowed at Nala’s Party Room, where you can play music from your phone over the built-in Bluetooth speakers. Outside speakers, bands and live performances are not allowed at any venue.
Montrose Studio and 3535 Venue can be booked until 12 AM Sunday to Thursday and until 1 AM on Friday and Saturday. Nala’s Party Room can be booked until 12 AM every day. Setup and cleanup must fit inside your booked hours.
Montrose Studio and 3535 Venue each hold up to 80 guests. Nala’s Party Room holds up to 40 guests.
